Job Title: Senior SAP ABAP Consultant with S/4 Conversion Experience

Job Summary: As a Senior SAP ABAP Consultant with S/4 Conversion Experience, you will play a pivotal role in our organization's transition to SAP S/4 HANA. You will lead and contribute to the development, customization, and enhancement of ABAP solutions to ensure seamless integration and functionality within the S/4 HANA environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- SAP S/4 HANA Conversion: Lead and actively participate in the planning, execution, and management of ABAP development tasks related to the conversion of systems and processes from legacy platforms to SAP S/4 HANA.
- ABAP Development: Design, develop, and optimize custom ABAP programs, enhancements, and modifications to meet the organization's requirements within the S/4 HANA landscape.
- Data Migration: Collaborate with data migration teams to develop and maintain ABAP scripts and programs required for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) during the migration process.
- Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise and guidance on SAP S/4 HANA-specific ABAP development, including object-oriented programming (OOP), CDS views, and Fiori app development.
- Code Review and Quality Assurance: Review and assess the quality of ABAP code, ensuring adherence to coding standards, performance optimization, and best practices.
- Configuration and Customization: Customize and configure SAP S/4 HANA ABAP solutions to meet the organization's specific requirements and business processes.
- Testing and Debugging: Collaborate with testing teams to assist in unit testing, integration testing, and debugging of ABAP programs to ensure functionality and reliability.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of ABAP development processes, code changes, and enhancements for future reference and compliance.
- Mentoring and Knowledge Sharing: Mentor junior ABAP developers and share knowledge and best practices to enhance the overall skill set of the team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a Senior SAP ABAP Consultant, with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in SAP S/4 HANA conversion projects.
- Strong understanding of SAP S/4 HANA architecture, ABAP development, and best practices.
- Proficiency in SAP tools and technologies, including ABAP programming, CDS views, and Fiori app development.
- Experience with data migration strategies and ABAP development for SAP migrations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with teams at all levels of the organization.
