Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the technical expert, ensuring quick turnaround in identifying and resolving application issues
- Develop technical specifications and convert business requirements into high-quality SAP ABAP solutions
- Work on SAP Fiori and Gateway development, ensuring smooth system integration
- Perform coding, debugging, unit/system/integration testing, and performance tuning
- Conduct performance optimization and ensure system scalability, availability, and archiving as per SLA
- Collaborate with functional teams, architects, and business analysts to deliver efficient SAP solutions
- Provide on-call operational support and manage system changes effectively
- Mentor and coach junior developers, ensuring knowledge-sharing and adoption of best practices
- Follow Agile methodologies and manage tasks using the ServiceNow ticketing system
Educational Qualifications:
- BE/BTech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Experience:
- Minimum 6 years of experience in SAP ABAP development
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience in SAP Fiori development (mandatory)
Required Skills:
- Strong object-oriented programming (OOP) skills in SAP ABAP
- Hands-on experience in SAP Gateway development and system integration
- Strong communication, analytical, and technical documentation skills
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects and deliverables
- Experience working in Agile environments and using ServiceNow for support
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in the Retail industry
- Familiarity with SAP HCP or Java development
