Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the technical expert, ensuring quick turnaround in identifying and resolving application issues
- Develop technical specifications and translate business requirements into high-quality SAP ABAP solutions
- Work on SAP Fiori and Gateway development, ensuring smooth integration with SAP systems
- Perform coding, debugging, testing (unit/system/integration), and performance tuning
- Conduct performance optimization and ensure SAP scalability, availability, and archiving meet SLA requirements
- Collaborate with functional teams, architects, and business analysts to deliver efficient and scalable solutions
- Provide on-call operational support and manage system changes effectively
- Mentor and coach junior developers, promoting knowledge sharing and adherence to best practices
- Follow Agile methodologies and use ServiceNow for support and project execution
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (BE/BTech preferred)
Experience:
- 6+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development
- At least 1 year of hands-on SAP Fiori development experience (mandatory)
Required Skills:
- Strong object-oriented programming (OOP) skills in SAP ABAP
- Experience in SAP Gateway development and system integration
- Excellent communication, analytical, and technical documentation skills
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables simultaneously
- Experience with Agile project methodologies and ServiceNow ticketing system
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in the Retail industry
- Exposure to SAP HCP or Java development
