Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced
SAP ABAP Consultant with strong functional exposure to
SD and MM modules, particularly in
pricing,
condition records, and
sales processes. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in ABAP development within
ECC or S/4HANA, including
RICEF objects,
Smart Forms, and
enhancement frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with functional teams (SD/MM) to gather requirements and develop ABAP solutions.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms (RICEF).
- Implement and troubleshoot pricing-related logic (KOMK/KOMP structures, condition tables, routines).
- Create and modify Smart Forms, Zebra labels (ZPL), and custom reports for SD/MM business flows.
- Support pricing simulation, tax logic, and condition record enhancements.
- Handle BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, and Enhancement Framework for business process automation.
- Perform debugging, unit testing, and performance optimization for delivered developments.
- Collaborate with onshore/offshore teams to ensure quality and timely delivery.
Technical Skills
- Core ABAP (35 years) RICEF, ALV, BAPI, BADI, User Exits, Smart Forms.
- SD Functional Exposure: Pricing procedures, condition records, order-to-cash (OTC) flow.
- MM Functional Exposure: Procurement, material master data, goods movement.
- ABAP on HANA (Optional): CDS Views, OData services, performance tuning.
- Integration: IDocs, BAPIs for SD/MM interfaces.
- Tools: Eclipse ADT / SE80, Debugger, SQL Trace, Runtime Analysis.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience in S/4HANA Conversion or Migration.
- Hands-on in pricing automation tools or tax Smart Forms.
- Exposure to EWM or Logistics modules is a plus.
Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
