About The Role
We are looking for an experienced
Senior SAP ABAP Consultant with strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA development and integration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying custom ABAP solutions aligned with business and technical requirements. The role demands excellent problem-solving skills, deep technical understanding of SAP architecture, and the ability to collaborate effectively with functional and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance custom programs using ABAP/4, including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms (RICEF).
- Work with functional consultants to translate business requirements into efficient technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain OData services, CDS Views, AMDPs, and ABAP on HANA performance optimization.
- Create and maintain SmartForms, SAPScripts, Adobe Forms, and Workflow enhancements.
- Integrate custom developments with SAP Fiori and S/4HANA environments.
- Ensure code quality, performance optimization, and adherence to SAP best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ABAP developments in integration with functional modules (MM, SD, FICO, PP, etc.).
- Participate in end-to-end project phases: requirement gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and documentation.
- Collaborate with global teams and support production systems ensuring timely resolution of incidents and change requests.
- Mentor and guide junior ABAP developers in the team.
Required Skills & Expertise
- Strong hands-on experience in ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, AMDP, and OData services.
- Experience in Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP), BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, and Enhancement Framework.
- Experience in S/4HANA implementation or migration projects.
- Good understanding of IDOCs, ALE, and RFCs for system integration.
- Expertise in performance tuning, debugging, and optimization techniques.
- Exposure to SAP Fiori/UI5 integration is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
- 710 years of hands-on SAP ABAP experience, preferably in S/4HANA environments.
- Experience in full-cycle SAP implementation projects is preferred.
