SAP ABAP Consultant

Description

We are looking for a skilled SAP ABAP Consultant with 7-15 years of experience to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ABAP development and will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SAP applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ABAP programs and reports
• Work with functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical solutions
• Optimize and enhance existing ABAP code for performance improvements
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle from analysis to deployment
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to ABAP programs
• Conduct unit testing and support user acceptance testing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP modules

Skills and Qualifications

• 7-15 years of experience in SAP ABAP development
• Strong knowledge of ABAP programming language
• Experience with SAP modules such as SD, MM, and FI
• Familiarity with SAP tools like Smart Forms, SAPscript, and Adobe Forms
• Understanding of data dictionary objects like tables, views, and indexes
• Knowledge of performance tuning and optimization techniques in ABAP
• Ability to work with BAPIs, RFCs, and enhancements
• Experience in debugging and troubleshooting ABAP programs
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
