Responsibilities
Job Description:
- Technical Leadership & Delivery Ownership
Lead the technical design, development, and deployment of Salesforce solutions across multiple clouds (Sales, Service, Experience, etc.).
Translate business requirements into robust, scalable, and high-performing technical designs.
Oversee and contribute to development using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and declarative tools.
Drive implementation of DevOps, CI/CD, and agile delivery best practices.
Conduct code reviews, performance assessments, and ensure adherence to best practices and governance standards.
Own the end-to-end technical quality of all deliverables within assigned projects.
- Solution Design & Architecture Support
Work closely with Solution Architects to design technical architectures, data models, and integration patterns.
Create detailed technical design documents (TDDs), data flow diagrams, and system integration plans.
Recommend optimal platform features and Salesforce-native capabilities to meet business needs efficiently.
Contribute to architecture governance, ensuring compliance with security, data, and performance standards.
Drive continuous improvement in design, coding, and delivery processes.
- Hands-On Development & Problem Solving
Develop complex Apex classes, triggers, LWC components, Aura Components, and automation processes (Flows, Process Builders).
Build and manage API integrations with external systems (REST/SOAP, MuleSoft, Boomi, Informatica, etc.).
Handle data migrations, bulk processing, and optimization for large data volumes (LDV).
Troubleshoot critical production issues, identify root causes, and drive long-term technical resolutions.
Collaborate with QA teams for test planning, coverage, and defect resolution.
- Team Leadership & Mentorship
Lead a team of Salesforce developers and configuration specialists, providing technical direction, guidance, and mentoring.
Assign and review tasks, ensuring delivery quality and timelines.
Coach team members on Salesforce design patterns, coding standards, and performance optimization.
Conduct technical training sessions and promote skill development within the team.
Foster a collaborative environment focused on innovation and continuous learning.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
Partner with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Functional Consultants, and Architects to refine requirements and validate technical feasibility.
Communicate technical solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Provide estimates, risk assessments, and technical input during project planning and sprint reviews.
Participate in client workshops, demos, and architecture walkthroughs.
Ensure technical alignment across all development streams in large programs.
- Innovation & Continuous Improvement
Stay updated on the latest Salesforce releases, platform innovations, and ecosystem trends.
Explore opportunities to integrate AI, automation, and Agentic workflows (Einstein GPT, Flow Orchestration, etc.) into solutions.
Identify areas for refactoring, reusability, and performance optimization.
Contribute to the organization's Salesforce accelerators, best practice repositories, and POCs.
