Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Field Service Lightning (FSL) Developer / Consultant to design, develop, and optimize FSL capabilities that enhance field operations, scheduling efficiency, and service delivery. The role requires strong hands-on skills in Salesforce FSL, Service Cloud, and core development technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and customize FSL components: Work Orders, Service Appointments, Work Types, Skills, Territories, Scheduling Policies.
  • Build Salesforce solutions using Apex, LWC, Visualforce, Triggers, Flows.
  • Configure and optimize FSL Mobile App for field technicians.
  • Implement Dispatcher Console, scheduling optimization, and resource allocation.
  • Integrate Salesforce with external systems using REST / SOAP APIs.
  • Work with functional teams to convert business needs into technical solutions.
  • Support configuration tasks, field mappings, and FSL data model setup.
  • Perform unit testing, UAT support, and ensure quality deliverables.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement fixes.
  • Maintain technical documentation (data flows, sequence diagrams, design specs).

Required Skills & Experience

  • 58 years of Salesforce development experience with strong FSL expertise.
  • Deep understanding of Service Cloud (Case Management, Entitlements).
  • Strong hands-on experience with Apex, LWC, Aura Components, SOQL/SOSL, Flows.
  • Experience with Dispatcher Console, Scheduling Policies & Optimization.
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce security model, sharing rules, permission sets.
  • Familiarity with deployments (Change Sets, Git-based CI/CD).

Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication & cross-functional collaboration
  • Strong understanding of field operations & service workflows
  • Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently & in Agile teams

Nice-to-Have

  • Salesforce FSL Certification / Service Cloud Certification
  • Experience with Salesforce Mobile Publisher or Mobile SDK
  • Knowledge of Community Portals for field service
  • Exposure to Field Service Analytics
