The Salesforce Developer is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining custom Salesforce solutions that power the company's revenue, customer experience, delivery, and finance workflows. This role acts as the engineering backbone of CRM, ensuring Salesforce evolves in line with business scale, AI GTM complexity, and governance needs.
The role goes beyond Sales use cases, supporting Sales, CX, Delivery, Marketing, Professional Services, and Finance on a single unified CRM platform.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop Salesforce solutions using:
Apex (Triggers, Classes, Batch, Async)
Lightning Web Components (LWC)
Custom objects, flows, and automations
Translate RevOps, Sales, CX, and Finance requirements into scalable system designs
Ensure high-quality code, reusability, and platform performance
2. Automation & Workflow Enablement
Build automations across the revenue lifecycle:
Lead-to-opportunity
Deal governance & approvals
Booking, billing, and revenue handoffs
Reduce manual processes through workflow, flow, and trigger-based automation
Ensure automations are robust, testable, and audit-ready
Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and:
Billing systems
Finance / ERP
Marketing automation platforms
BI & analytics tools
Work with REST/SOAP APIs and middleware
Ensure data integrity, error handling, and reconciliation
Support CRM needs across:
Sales & RevOps
Customer Experience (CS, CSM, TAM)
Delivery & Professional Services
Marketing Ops
Finance Ops
Build unified workflows instead of siloed solutions
Enable AI GTM programs, gamification, CSAT, QBR, and NRR tracking through CRM
Write unit tests and ensure required code coverage
Participate in sandbox testing, UAT, and release cycles
Support release management led by Business Systems Manager
Troubleshoot production issues and reduce defect leakage
Optimize Salesforce performance and governor limit usage
Design solutions that scale with data volume and user growth
Proactively refactor legacy code where needed
Ability to leverage AI for development efficiency, CRM automation, and transforming business workflows
Thinking beyond tools process redesign using AI
Familiarity with Salesforce AI (Einstein), APIs, or external AI integrations
Ability to ensure data quality, governance, and reliability in AI outputs
Skills Required
Strong hands-on experience with:
Apex
Lightning Web Components (LWC)
Salesforce Flows & automation
Experience with Salesforce APIs & integrations
Working knowledge of CPQ, security model, and data architecture
Familiarity with DevOps tools (CI/CD, version control)
Ability to convert business problems into system solutions
Strong collaboration with RevOps, IT, Product, and Finance
High ownership and accountability for production systems
Structured problem-solving approach
3-5 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience
Experience supporting enterprise-scale CRM implementations
Prior exposure to SaaS / B2B GTM workflows preferred
Salesforce certifications are a plus (Platform Developer I/II)
Delivery velocity (features delivered vs plan)
Defect rate and production stability
System performance and scalability
On-time support for GTM and revenue programs
