Role overview: You are the guardian of our system integrity and the architect of our user experience. Sercante is seeking a
Salesforce Admin & Developer who doesn't just keep the lights on but actively hunts for ways to make our Sales, Marketing, and Support teams faster and smarter. In this role, you will own the health of our Salesforce environment, translating complex business needs into elegant, scalable technical solutions that drive our growth.
Requirements
What You Bring
- 3+ years of hands-on administration experience in Salesforce platform with a required Administrator Certification.
- Specific expertise in building, troubleshooting, and optimising advanced Flows to streamline business logic.
- Hands-on development experience building Salesforce Apex and Lightning Web Components
- A deep understanding of the Salesforce security model, including complex setups for roles, profiles, and sharing rules.
- A track record of maintaining pristine data quality using tools like Data Loader, alongside regular auditing and deduplication habits.
- Familiarity with sandbox management and deployment tools such as Change Sets, Copado Essentials, or Gearset.
- The ability to listen to non-technical stakeholders, understand their pain points, and communicate technical solutions clearly.
- Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud would be a strong benefit.
- Experience with Certinia PSA would be a strong benefit.
A Day-in-the-Life
- Own the daily operations of the platform, managing user setup, permissions, and overall system security.
- Own regular data ingestion and data quality tasks, monitor integration exceptions, and identify process and technology improvements.
- Work through the system improvement
- Build and maintain robust automations, ensuring our workflows run smoothly and efficiently.
- Empower the team by creating insightful reports and dashboards that visualise key metrics and success indicators.
- Safeguard the system by performing regular maintenance, testing new releases, and running data integrity audits.
- Educate users through documentation and training, ensuring everyone gets the most out of the tools you build.
What Success Looks Like
- Within 90 days: You have learned and taken over the following: creating new employee users in Salesforce, handling tier 1 support issues for Salesforce and Certinia PSA, importing CSAT requests, handling integration exceptions
- Within 6 months: You have helped build multiple improvements to the employee experience in Salesforce and Certinia finding many areas to add incremental improvements.
- Within 1 year: You have become a trusted strategic partner to the business, proactively suggesting system improvements that align with our long-term growth goals.
