Job Summary:
PolicyBoss is looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Trainer to drive training initiatives for sales teams, Tele-callers, and agency/POSP channels. The role involves delivering high-impact training programs focused on insurance products, sales effectiveness, and customer engagement to improve overall business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct induction and on boarding training for new hires
Deliver product training for motor, health, and life insurance
Train teams on sales skills, objection handling, and closing techniques
Identify training needs through performance data and feedback
Develop training modules, presentations, and learning content
Conduct refresher and up skilling sessions regularly
Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments and performance tracking
Work closely with sales teams to improve conversion ratios and productivity
Maintain training MIS, reports, and attendance records
Support business teams in achieving revenue targets through capability building
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong presentation and facilitation skills
Excellent communication and influencing abilities
Good understanding of insurance products and sales processes
Ability to engage large groups and drive participation
Content creation and training design expertise
Analytical approach to measure training impact
Qualifications:
Graduate in any discipline (MBA/PGDM preferred)
Certification in Training (TTT) is an added advantage
Experience:
2–6 years of experience in training, preferably in insurance/BFSI
Prior experience in Agency sales training is highly preferred
Performance Metrics (KPIs):
Improvement in sales conversion rates
Training feedback scores
Speed of new hire productivity
Performance improvement post-training
Business impact of training initiatives
