Role 1: Senior Sales Trainer / Senior Sales L&D Specialist
Experience: 6–10 Years
The Opportunity
As a Senior Sales Trainer, you will lead capability-building initiatives across sales functions and drive training excellence at scale. You will be responsible for designing learning strategies, building quality frameworks, coaching sales teams, and improving overall sales effectiveness.
This role is ideal for a high-performing sales professional who has successfully transitioned into sales training and has experience building learning ecosystems that directly impact business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive sales training programs across onboarding and ongoing learning journeys.
- Develop sales capability frameworks, certification programs, and learning pathways.
- Build and manage quality assurance frameworks to improve customer interactions and conversion performance.
- Conduct advanced coaching interventions, calibration sessions, and performance reviews.
- Analyze sales performance data, identify gaps, and create targeted learning solutions.
- Partner with leadership teams to drive productivity and revenue-impacting initiatives.
- Create engaging training content, sales playbooks, SOPs, assessments, and learning resources.
- Mentor junior trainers and contribute to the overall L&D strategy.
- Track training effectiveness through business metrics, dashboards, and ROI measurement.
- Lead initiatives focused on sales excellence, customer experience, and process improvement.
What We're Looking For
- 6–10 years of experience in Sales Training, Learning & Development, Sales Coaching, or Capability Development.
- Mandatory prior experience as a Sales Professional with a proven understanding of sales cycles, customer behavior, consultative selling, and revenue generation.
- Demonstrated success in training and coaching sales teams to achieve performance goals.
- Strong expertise in developing training frameworks, content, certification programs, and learning journeys.
- Experience driving quality improvement, coaching effectiveness, and performance enhancement initiatives.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to convert insights into actionable learning interventions.
- Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional initiatives.
- Experience in EdTech, BPO, SaaS, or high-growth sales environments is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in Tamil will be an added advantage.
- Passion for music and/or experience as a musician will be an added advantage, providing valuable insight into the learner journey and the broader music education landscape.
