Role Overview

Ukhi India is seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Supervisor to drive revenue growth and expand market presence across domestic and international markets. This is a core sales role responsible for generating new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and strengthening the company's position within the biodegradable plastics and specialty chemicals industry.

The ideal candidate will possess strong commercial acumen, a proactive approach to business development, and a keen understanding of sustainable materials and regulatory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Revenue Generation

• Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across India and international markets.

• Drive sales of biodegradable and compostable products, including carry bags, films, granules, and sustainable packaging solutions.

• Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with organizational growth objectives.

Market Expansion

• Build and expand Ukhi India's customer base across sectors such as FMCG, HoReCa, retail, e-commerce, and packaging.

• Explore and develop export opportunities through distributors, channel partners, and institutional buyers.

• Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning.

Client Acquisition & Relationship Management

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, procurement heads, and distributors.

• Deliver compelling product presentations and negotiate techno-commercial agreements.

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term client retention.

Technical & Commercial Sales

• Prepare and present techno-commercial proposals, quotations, and contracts.

• Provide customers with product insights, certifications, and compliance-related information.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless order execution and timely delivery.

Regulatory & Industry Alignment

• Demonstrate familiarity with CPCB guidelines, EPR regulations, and compostability standards.

• Support clients with documentation related to sustainability compliance and environmental regulations.

Reporting & Coordination

• Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide regular updates through CRM systems.

• Prepare periodic MIS reports, sales forecasts, and market intelligence updates.

• Represent Ukhi India at industry exhibitions, trade fairs, and business forums.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, or a related field.

• A postgraduate qualification in Sales or Marketing will be an added advantage.

Experience

• 1–2 years of experience in B2B sales or business development.

• Prior exposure to biodegradable plastics, polymers, specialty chemicals, packaging, or sustainable materials is preferred.

• Experience in handling institutional or export sales will be advantageous.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong business development and negotiation skills.

• Understanding of biodegradable plastics, compostable materials, or specialty chemicals.

• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as CPCB guidelines and EPR norms.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.

• Ability to work independently and meet aggressive sales targets.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.

• Willingness to travel extensively within India and internationally.

• Entrepreneurial mindset with a results-driven approach.
