We are seeking a high-impact Sales Manager to lead the growth of our advanced product & solutions (Camera AI | Vessel Reporting system | Condition Based Monitoring | Voyage Optimization), within the marine sector.
This is a strategic, consultative sales role focused on helping ship owners, operators, and shipyards transition from reactive maintenance to predictive, data-driven asset management. You will work at the intersection of engineering, digital monitoring, and commercial strategy — driving measurable value through reduced downtime, improved safety, and optimized lifecycle performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Business Growth
- Develop and execute a focused sales strategy targeting ship owners, fleet operators, shipyards, and offshore asset managers.
- Identify new revenue streams and expand the B2B customer network across marine and offshore markets.
- Build a strong opportunity pipeline and consistently achieve revenue targets.
- Consultative Technical Sales
- Promote and sell advanced vibration monitoring solutions including sensors, accelerometers, and online condition monitoring systems.
- Position remote monitoring and data transmission solutions for onshore diagnostics and predictive maintenance.
- Deliver technical presentations, conduct product demonstrations, and provide value-based proposals tailored to vessel-specific requirements.
- End-to-End Sales & Project Ownership
- Manage the complete sales lifecycle — from lead generation and technical discussions to proposal development and contract negotiation.
- Collaborate with engineering and service teams to deliver customized solutions aligned with customer operational needs.
- Ensure smooth handover for project execution and long-term customer success.
- Relationship & Account Management
- Build trusted relationships with technical superintendents, fleet managers, maintenance heads, and decision-makers.
- Act as a long-term partner and advisor on asset reliability and performance optimization.
- Drive repeat business and long-term framework agreements.
- Market Intelligence & Forecasting
- Track industry trends such as predictive maintenance adoption, regulatory shifts, and digitalization in maritime operations.
- Monitor competitor activity and market positioning.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts and contribute to strategic planning.
Desired Skillset
Industry Expertise
- Strong understanding of marine engineering, ship operations, and onboard machinery systems.
- Familiarity with fleet maintenance practices and reliability engineering principles.
Technical Competence
- Knowledge of vibration analysis, condition monitoring systems, accelerometers, ISO standards, and rotating equipment diagnostics.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear commercial value.
Experience
- Proven track record in B2B sales within marine industry.
- Experience handling long-cycle, solution-based technical sales.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline preferred.
