Job Description

  • Accurate Electrical Design Documentation

Develop detailed electrical schematics, panel layouts, terminal diagrams, and wiring

lists using EPLAN.

Deliver accurate documentation critical for error-free panel assembly, installation, and

future maintenance.

  • Standardization Compliance

Ensure designs comply with IEC, UL, NEC, and other international electrical

standards.

Maintain consistency in symbol usage, naming conventions, and safety protocols.

  • Enhanced Efficiency Reduced Errors

Leverage EPLAN features like macros, templates, and automated BOMs to speed

up design cycles.

Minimize manual errors and improve design version tracking and traceability.

  • Facilitates Panel Manufacturing Assembly

Generate detailed documentation to guide panel builders on component layout and

terminal wiring.

Help prevent miswiring and ensure optimal enclosure space utilization.

  • Smooth Project Execution

Collaborate with project, design, and production teams to ensure alignment and timely

project delivery.

Reduce lead times with efficient design-to-manufacture workflows.

  • Maintenance-Friendly Documentation

Deliver clean, clear electrical drawings for use by electricians and service teams.

Enable easy troubleshooting, modifications, and future system upgrades.

Key Responsibilities

Design PLC-based control panels and automation systems using EPLAN.

Generate complete electrical documentation: schematics, terminal lists, GA layouts,

and BOMs.

Collaborate with the automation team and panel builders to ensure design accuracy.

Review and revise electrical designs to meet customer and project specifications.

Stay updated with standards and incorporate improvements into design processes.

Required Qualifications Skills

Diploma or Bachelors degree in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation

Engineering.

24 years of relevant experience in EPLAN-based electrical design in the

automation or SPM industry.

Proficiency in EPLAN for creating electrical schematics, panel layouts, and wiring

diagrams.

Familiarity with PLC components, safety devices, drives, and industrial sensors.

Strong attention to detail, documentation skills, and a proactive mindset.

Good communication and collaboration skills.
