Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Specialist role based in Gurugram. The Sales Specialist will identify and develop new business opportunities, build and maintain relationships with clients, and promote GL Trans transport and logistics services across target markets. Daily responsibilities include prospecting leads, conducting client meetings and presentations, preparing and negotiating quotations, and following up to close deals. The role also involves coordinating with operations and dispatch teams to ensure service quality, addressing customer inquiries or issues, and maintaining accurate records in CRM tools. The Sales Specialist will monitor market trends and competitors, prepare regular sales reports, and participate in internal training and team meetings to continually improve performance.

Qualifications

  • Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to engage with clients, understand their needs, and provide clear, professional support.
  • Proven Sales experience with the ability to generate leads, manage pipelines, and achieve or exceed sales targets.
  • Experience or interest in Sales Management and Training, including supporting junior team members and contributing to best practices.
  • Knowledge of transport, logistics, or related industries is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work remote and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools, MS Office, and basic data analysis for sales reporting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience).
  • Strong organizational, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities, with a results-oriented mindset.
