Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Officer role based in Delhi. The Sales Officer will be responsible for managing and growing sales within assigned territories or channels, building strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and other partners. Day-to-day activities include prospecting and lead generation, conducting sales visits, presenting product offerings, and negotiating terms to close deals. The role also involves coordinating sales operations, tracking performance against targets, preparing reports, and providing feedback from the market to internal teams. The Sales Officer will work closely with customer service and marketing colleagues to ensure a positive customer experience and support brand visibility and growth.

Qualifications

  • Strong Sales Operations and Channel Sales skills, with the ability to manage pipelines, territories, and partner relationships effectively.
  • Proficiency in Lead Generation and Customer Service to identify new opportunities and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent Communication skills, including the ability to present, negotiate, and build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in field sales, FMCG Spices, retail, or related sectors is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work independently in an on-site environment, with strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Basic proficiency with CRM tools and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for reporting and data tracking.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Comfort with local market dynamics in Delhi and willingness to travel within assigned areas as required.
