Our diverse and growing portfolio includes some of the Middle East's most iconic trade fairs such as Intersec, Beautyworld Middle East, Automechanika Dubai, and Light + Intelligent Building Middle East. These events not only reflect the latest industry trends but also serve as launchpads for new products, partnerships, and ideas that shape the future of their respective sectors.

We are now seeking a high-performing Sales Manager to drive the commercial success of our exhibitions. This is a highly commercial, client-facing role suited to someone who thrives on winning new business, building long-term partnerships, and delivering sustained revenue growth across a global exhibition platform.

What You'll Be Doing

Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth

  • Drive exhibition stand sales, sponsorship, and additional revenue streams across assigned events and portfolios.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with business objectives, market positioning, and growth targets.
  • Identify new revenue opportunities through market analysis, sector expansion, and product development.
  • Monitor sales performance, pipeline health, forecasting, and KPIs to ensure commercial targets are achieved.

Client Acquisition & Account Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with exhibitors, sponsors, and industry partners to maximise retention, rebooking, and upselling opportunities.
  • Proactively identify, engage, and convert new business through prospecting, networking, virtual meetings, and face-to-face sales activity.
  • Manage key accounts and provide a high level of customer service throughout the full event lifecycle.
  • Maintain accurate sales pipelines, forecasting data, and client records within CRM systems.

Portfolio & Floorplan Optimisation

  • Support the strategic development and optimisation of exhibition floorplans to maximise revenue and enhance the customer experience.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders on pricing strategies, space allocation, and commercial positioning.
  • Identify new sectors, products, and growth opportunities to strengthen the event portfolio.

Market Intelligence & Industry Engagement

  • Conduct ongoing market and competitor research to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
  • Build and maintain relationships with industry associations, government entities, media partners, and key stakeholders.
  • Attend industry events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities to generate leads and strengthen market presence.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Marketing teams to support campaigns, lead generation activities, and customer engagement initiatives.
  • Partner with Operations teams to ensure a seamless exhibitor and sponsor experience from sales through to event delivery.
  • Collaborate with international sales partners and internal stakeholders to maximise participation and revenue opportunities.

Onsite Delivery & Customer Experience

  • Support the successful onsite delivery of exhibitions and events, ensuring a high-quality experience for exhibitors, sponsors, and stakeholders.
  • Maintain strong client relationships throughout build-up, event days, and breakdown.
  • Act as a trusted point of contact for customers, ensuring satisfaction, retention, and long-term engagement.

What You'll Bring

  • 3–5 years experience in B2B sales, ideally within exhibitions, events, media, sponsorship, or a related commercial environment.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify and convert new business opportunities.
  • Excellent relationship management, networking, and consultative selling skills.
  • Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and decision-makers across international markets.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications (SAP experience is advantageous).
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related discipline.
  • Fluent English is essential; additional languages are advantageous.
