Job Description

As a Sales Manager, you will lead our sales initiatives, build strong client relationships, and drive revenue growth. You'll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing a high-performing sales team, and delivering exceptional results.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy & Execution:
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand Mavenbird's market presence.
  • Team Management:
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals to exceed targets.
  • Monitor performance, provide regular feedback, and implement training initiatives to enhance team productivity.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Pipeline Management:
  • Manage the sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-ups and closing of deals.
  • Accurately forecast sales performance and provide regular reports to senior management.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with marketing, product, and delivery teams to align sales strategies with business goals.
  • Collaborate with the presales team to create customized proposals and presentations.
  • Market Analysis:
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to refine sales strategies.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience:
  • Proven track record in sales, with at least 5+ years in a managerial role, preferably in the IT or e-commerce industry.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Skills:
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership abilities with experience managing and motivating sales teams.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and sales performance tracking software.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge:
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, digital marketing solutions, or software services is a plus.
  • Understanding of the sales lifecycle and consultative selling techniques.
  • Attitude:
