Job Description: Sales Engineer -Connected Business Enterprise

5. Position Overview: We are seeking Sales Engineer to join the IoT Connected Business team based in Noida. This role will focus on delivering energy management and Industry 4.0 solutions to customers across relevant industrial segments. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for understanding customer requirements, providing techno-commercial solutions, and supporting business development and sales initiatives for the business unit. The role will also contribute to the implementation and optimization of interconnected energy management systems to enhance operational efficiency and sustainability for clients.

6. Key Responsibilities:

1. Generate business opportunities standards & services across Industry sectors for achieving targets.

2. Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads through various channels, such as cold calls, emails, networking, and industry events.

3. Identify prospective customers, study and understand client business processes and conceptualize solutions.

4. Collaborate with stakeholders and other internal team members to create customized IoT/AI solutions that align with client needs.

5. Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals to potential clients, emphasizing the benefits and ROI of IoT/AI solutions.

6. understanding the business needs of potential clients, strategizing and convincing the client on the validity of our solutions to their needs, and extremely successful in converting a potential client into a client

7. End to End ownership and management of digital solutions right from conceptualization phase till roll out.

8. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within organizations.

9. Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the process.

10. Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to close deals while ensuring both customer satisfaction and profitability.

11. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging IoT technologies. 12. Continuously expand your knowledge of IoT/AI applications across various industries. 13. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including client interactions, proposals, and sales forecasts.

14. Ensure seamless integration of software, hardware, and IoT devices.

15. Assists the Business lead in Project Planning, Resource Management, Quality, Timeline, Risk and Mitigation Management, Project Execution, Project Cost.

7. Qualifications and Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Software, Gas, Chemical, Petrochemical Engineering, or AI & ML with 5-6 years of experience in B2B sales / business development.

2. Proven track record in growing existing accounts and acquiring new enterprise clients, preferably in IoT / Industry 4.0 solutions.

3. Experience supporting industrial customers (Manufacturing, Logistics, Energy, Process industries) with digital or automation solutions.

4. Exposure to SaaS, subscription-based, or technology solution sales.

5. Strong understanding of technology integration, industrial automation, and data-driven solutions.

6. Ability to manage CRM systems, sales pipelines, and prepare monthly sales reports.

7. Experience in techno-commercial proposals, e-tenders, and online bidding processes. 8. Proficiency in ERP / CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office.

9. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

10. Willingness to travel for client meetings and business development activities.

11. Self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced team environment.

8. Competency Requirements:

• Industry 4.0 & IoT Solution Expertise Strong understanding of connected business, digital transformation, automation, and energy management solutions.

• Enterprise B2B Solution Proven capability in business development, new account acquisition, and managing complex technology sales cycles.

• Techno-Commercial Acumen Ability to develop proposals, manage tenders, handle negotiations, and drive commercial closures.

• Customer Relationship & Cross-Functional Collaboration Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build client relationships and collaborate effectively across internal teams.

• Analytical Thinking & Problem Solving Strong analytical mindset with the ability to diagnose customer challenges and provide data-driven solutions.

• Execution Excellence & Result Orientation Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and perform effectively in a fast-paced, target driven environment.
