Job Summary

The Sales Manager - LAP (Vellore H&S) is responsible for leading and managing the sales team to achieve targets for Loan Against Property products within the Vellore region. This role focuses on driving business growth, ensuring customer satisfaction, and adhering to company policies and regulatory guidelines in the housing and property finance sector.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets for Loan Against Property (LAP) products in the Vellore market.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales executives, providing regular training, performance feedback, and support to ensure their success.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, including building relationships with real estate developers, agents, and other potential referral sources.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and client acquisition to loan disbursement and post-sales support.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adapt sales strategies and product offerings effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with all internal policies, procedures, and external regulatory requirements related to LAP products.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to senior management.
  • Collaborate with credit, operations, and other internal teams to ensure smooth processing and delivery of LAP services.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and building long-term relationships.
  • Represent the company at industry events, seminars, and networking opportunities to promote LAP products and services.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in sales, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial role within the financial services industry, specifically with exposure to Loan Against Property (LAP) or mortgage products.
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of the Vellore real estate market and local economic conditions.
  • Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and compliance standards.
  • Fluency in Tamil and English is essential.
