Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Manager role based in Ahmedabad. The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, managing the sales pipeline, and closing deals with B2B customers in the packaging industry and related sectors. Day-to-day activities include prospecting and qualifying leads, conducting client meetings and product presentations, preparing proposals and quotations, and negotiating terms to achieve sales targets. The role involves closely collaborating with internal teams such as operations, vendor management, and customer success to ensure smooth order fulfillment and high customer satisfaction. The Sales Manager will also analyze market trends, track competition, and provide feedback to leadership to refine go-to-market strategies and support sustainable business growth.
Qualifications
  • Proven skills in B2B sales, key account management, and pipeline management, with a strong focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
  • Experience in business development, lead generation, and client relationship management within manufacturing, packaging, or related industries.
  • Ability to conduct needs analysis, prepare customized proposals, and negotiate pricing and contract terms effectively.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for engaging with stakeholders at multiple levels, including senior decision-makers.
  • Comfort working with CRM tools, sales reporting, and data-driven decision-making to track performance and forecast revenue.
  • Understanding of packaging solutions, supply chain, or industrial products is preferred; willingness to learn industry specifics is essential.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
  • Ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad, travel for client meetings as required, and thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving mindset, resilience, and ethical sales practices aligned with a transparent and sustainable business model.
