Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Manager role based in Chennai. The Sales Manager will lead and mentor a team of sales professionals, set daily and weekly sales targets, and monitor performance against goals. Responsibilities include generating leads, meeting prospective clients, conducting property presentations and site visits, and guiding customers through the entire sales cycle from inquiry to closure. The role also involves coordinating with marketing and operations teams, preparing sales reports and forecasts, and ensuring accurate documentation and timely follow-up with all prospects. The Sales Manager will maintain strong relationships with clients, understand their requirements, provide suitable property options, and represent the company in a professional and ethical manner.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in property or real estate sales, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Demonstrated skills in team leadership, coaching, and performance management.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build trust with clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to generate leads, manage pipelines, and drive the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
- Comfort with using CRM tools, basic MS Office applications, and digital communication platforms.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail in documentation and reporting.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in local languages relevant to Chennai customers is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in the Chennai real estate market or similar regional markets is preferred.
- Willingness to work on-site, including weekends or extended hours when required by business needs.
