About the Role
The Manager – Sales & Marketing will lead and drive the strategic growth of JJ Plastalloy's Engineering Polymer Compounds (EPC – Auto & Non-Auto) division. This leadership role focuses on managing a complex stakeholder ecosystem, including OEMs, Tier 1 vendors and distributors. As the Manager – S&M, you will play a critical role in strengthening JJ Plastalloy's position across both Automotive and Non-Automotive EPC segments.
Responsibilities:
Product & Sector:
- EPC (Automotive)
- EPC (Non-Automotive)
Sales & Business Development:
- Drive EPC sales process (lead generation to deal closure and post-sales support).
- Achieve and exceed sales targets for EPC (Auto & Non-Auto).
- Build and sustain strong relationships with OEMs/Tier 1/Tier 2 vendors.
- Manage customer accounts and negotiate to secure sustainable business.
- Provide regular market insights, competitor tracking, and actionable intelligence.
OEMs/Tier 1/Tier 2 Vendor Engagement (EPC – Auto & Non-Auto):
- Engage Tier 1 vendors for business opportunities across Automotive and Non Automotive markets. Negotiate sustainable business terms while ensuring alignment with technical and commercial requirements.
Customer Engagement & Distributor Management:
- Distributor Management (EPC – Auto & Non-Auto):
- Identify, appoint, and onboard distributors to expand EPC sales.
- Monitor distributor performance and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Strengthen distributor networks to maximise penetration in both Auto & Non-Auto segments.
Commercial Order Execution:
- Oversee order execution for EPC products, ensuring timely processing and delivery.
- Collaborate with SCM, Manufacturing, and Finance to meet customer requirements.
Collaboration with Technical & Commercial Teams:
- Partner with R&D (TKC) to develop EPC (Auto & Non-Automotive) products per customer needs.
- Ensure QC and Manufacturing maintain EPC quality standards.
- Provide accurate forecasts to align production with EPC market demand.
- Work with SCM to address availability, logistics, and delivery timelines.
Strategic Business Development:
- Create and execute growth strategies for EPC (Auto & Non-Automotive) in your assigned regions.
- Expand into new territories with innovative approaches.
- Strengthen JJ Plastalloy's market positioning through OEM, Tier 1, Tier 2 engagements.
- Develop distributor strategies to boost EPC non-auto reach while growing auto partnerships.
Sales Forecasting:
- Prepare region-wise, territory-wise, and product-wise EPC (Auto & Non-Automotive) sales targets.
- Set and review monthly/quarterly/yearly sales objectives.
- Track progress and provide guidance to ensure targets are achieved.
Financial Oversight & Payment Collection:
- Enforce credit control measures to reduce risks with your customers.
- Ensure timely payment collection.
- Collaborate with Finance to resolve payment issues and monitor risks.
Reporting & Communication:
- Share regular EPC performance reports with CEO.
- Present updates on customer wins, distributor performance, and EPC pipeline.
- Ensure seamless communication with technical and commercial teams.
Customer Service & Retention:
- Provide timely support for EPC-related queries (technical & commercial).
- Oversee resolution of returns, replacements, and invoicing.
- Monitor satisfaction and strengthen loyalty across Auto & Non-Auto customers.
CRM & Reporting:
- Ensure diligent usage of Zoho CRM for EPC lead management and funnel tracking.
- Generate MIS reports on EPC Auto & Non-Auto performance and opportunities.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of EPC (Auto & Non-Automotive) applications.
- Expertise in distributor management and OEM/Tier 1/Tier 2 ecosystems.
- Proficiency in EPC product trials, technical data handling, and audits.
- Familiarity with CRM (Zoho) and ERP tools.
Preferred Skills
- Leadership: Ability to drive EPC Auto & Non-Automotive sales.
