Job Description: Retail Store Manager (Luxury Home Decor)

Designation: Retail Store Manager

Location: Bandra (West), Mumbai

Compensation: ₹11,00,000 – ₹12,00,000 LPA

Role Type: Individual Contributor

They operate state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities and collaborate with top-tier Italian designers to cater to the premium segment of the Indian and international markets.

Role Synopsis

We are seeking a seasoned professional for our flagship store in Bandra. This is an Individual Contributor role focused on high-stakes sales and store leadership. The ideal candidate will balance impeccable store operations with aggressive Business Development, specifically targeting the Architect and Interior Designer (AID) community and HNI clients to drive project-based revenue.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development & Influencer Relations

  • Proactively network with and develop an expansive database of Architects, Interior Designers, and Builders.
  • Drive high-value sales through consistent outreach and relationship management with the AID community.
  • Keep key influencers and HNI customers updated on new collections, luxury wallpapers, and premium fabrics.

2. Store Operations & Management

  • Oversee full store P&L and drive sales targets through efficient operations and luxury-standard customer service.
  • Manage visual merchandising, promotional activities, and inventory forecasting/replenishment.
  • Ensure strict adherence to company SOPs, store hygiene, and point-of-sale (POS) accuracy.

3. Sales Execution & Market Intelligence

  • Lead end-to-end project execution for HNI clients, from consultation to final delivery.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to facilitate strategic sales planning.
  • Maintain a high conversion rate for showroom walk-ins through expert product knowledge and rapport building.

Screening Parameters

  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of total work experience, with at least 5-6 years as a Store Manager.
  • Industry Background: Primary preference for Home Furnishing. Also open to Furniture, Luxury Bath Fittings, Ceramics, Sanitaryware, Wallpaper, Flooring, Carpets, or Blinds.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Stability: A solid career history with no frequent job changes.
  • Skillset: Confident, target-oriented, and experienced in direct sales to the Architect/Designer fraternity.
