Role Description
The Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by identifying new sales opportunities, building strong client relationships, and achieving sales targets. Responsibilities include developing sales strategies, leading sales presentations, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure client needs are met. Additionally, the Sales Manager will provide market insights, track competitor activity, and contribute to product positioning and development. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chandigarh.
Qualifications
- Sales and business development skills, including client prospecting, lead generation, and customer relationship management
- Expertise in sales strategy development, market analysis, and competitive benchmarking
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills to build trust and close deals
- Technical understanding of laboratory instrumentation, cleanroom setups, and scientific equipment (preferred)
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to tailor solutions to client needs
- Proficiency in using CRM software and data analysis tools
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a target-driven environment
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus
- Previous sales experience in scientific instrumentation, life sciences, or a related industry is an advantage
