MICE Sales Manager (Corporate Sales Hospitality)

Location: Hotel Classic Diplomat, Mahipalpur, New Delhi

Job Summary

The MICE Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue through Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) segments by acquiring corporate clients, managing key accounts, and ensuring successful execution of events at the hotel. The role requires strong sales acumen, client relationship management, and coordination with internal departments.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities in corporate and MICE segment
  • Develop relationships with corporates, travel agencies, event planners, and institutions
  • Conduct sales calls, client meetings, and presentations

2. Revenue Generation

  • Achieve assigned sales targets and revenue goals
  • Promote banquet facilities, conference halls, and room packages
  • Prepare competitive proposals, pricing, and contracts

3. Client Relationship Management

  • Manage key corporate accounts and ensure repeat business
  • Organize site visits and hotel presentations
  • Handle client negotiations and close deals effectively

4. Event Planning & Coordination

  • Liaise with operations, banquet, and F&B teams for smooth execution
  • Ensure all client requirements are fulfilled during events
  • Address client concerns and provide on-site support when required

5. Market Intelligence

  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends
  • Identify new segments and business opportunities
  • Provide inputs for pricing strategies and promotional campaigns

6. Reporting & MIS

  • Maintain sales reports, pipeline data, and forecasts
  • Update CRM systems regularly
  • Share weekly/monthly performance reports with management

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong sales, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Customer-focused approach
  • Knowledge of hotel operations (Rooms, Banquet, F&B)
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM tools

Educational Qualification

  • Graduate in any discipline
  • MBA / Diploma in Hospitality Management (Preferred)

Experience Required

  • 58 years of experience in hotel sales / MICE sales / corporate sales
  • Prior experience in hospitality industry preferred
