Role Summary
The Sales Head will be responsible for driving sales revenue across real estate projects while also overseeing and aligning the marketing function. The role involves leading sales and marketing teams, managing channel partners, ensuring effective lead generation, and developing team capabilities through continuous training and performance management.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Revenue Generation
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve project-wise and overall revenue targets
- Drive bookings, negotiations, and closures for residential and/or commercial projects
- Define pricing strategies, payment plans, and sales phasing in coordination with senior management
Sales & Marketing Team Leadership
- Lead, manage, and align both sales and marketing teams to ensure integrated execution
- Set targets, KPIs, and performance benchmarks for sales and marketing teams
- Ensure seamless coordination between marketing lead generation and sales conversion
Training & Team Development
- Identify training needs for sales and marketing teams
- Design and conduct regular training programs on product knowledge, sales techniques, CRM usage, and customer handling
- Coach team members to improve performance, productivity, and professional growth
- Build a performance-driven culture through mentoring and feedback
Marketing & Lead Management
- Oversee marketing strategies, campaigns, and promotional activities
- Guide the marketing team on lead quality, targeting, and campaign effectiveness
- Monitor marketing ROI, cost per lead, and cost per booking
- Support project launches, events, exhibitions, and digital campaigns
Customer Relationship Management
- Oversee customer engagement from inquiry to agreement execution
- Handle critical customer escalations and ensure timely resolution
- Maintain high customer satisfaction and referral generation
Reporting & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Prepare and present sales and marketing MIS reports to senior management
- Forecast sales revenue, lead flow, and cash collections
- Coordinate with finance, legal, CRM, and project teams for smooth operations
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred)
- 310 years of experience in real estate sales and marketing
- Proven experience managing both sales and marketing teams
- Strong understanding of real estate regulations, pricing, and lead management
