Job Description

Job Title: Sales Manager Premium Machine-Made Rugs

Location: Jaipur [field work Travel as required]

Job Type: Full-time

We are looking for a high-performing Sales Executive whose sole responsibility is to sell premium-quality machine made rugs. This role demands a strong persuader who understands luxury products, can confidently communicate value, and build long-term relationships with suppliers, retailers, and trade partners.

The ideal candidate is results-oriented, polished in communication, and capable of closing high-value orders by positioning the product as a premium offering, not a commodity.

Key Responsibilities:

Actively sell premium machine-made rugs to retailers, wholesalers, interior stores, and suppliers

Develop and manage a strong network of B2B clients and retail partners

Convince buyers on quality, design, durability, craftsmanship, and pricing value

Present the product confidently as a luxury / high-end rug solution

Conduct product presentations, sampling discussions, and price negotiations

Identify new markets, retailers, and distribution opportunities

Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets

Maintain strong follow-ups and post-sale relationship management

Coordinate with production and logistics teams to ensure smooth order execution

Gather market feedback, competitor insights, and buyer preferences

Represent the brand professionally at trade meetings, exhibitions, and client visits

Required Skills & Competencies:

Exceptional convincing and negotiation skills

Strong ability to sell premium and high-value products

Excellent verbal and written communication

Deep understanding of B2B sales cycles

Confidence in dealing with retailers, distributors, and suppliers

Result-driven mindset with strong closing ability

Ability to explain technical and quality aspects in simple, persuasive language

Professional presentation and relationship-building skills

Preferred Qualifications:

25 years of experience in sales of rugs, carpets, textiles, flooring, or luxury products

Experience in machine-made rugs or premium home dcor is a strong advantage

Exposure to domestic and/or export markets preferred

Willingness to travel for client meetings and sales development
