Job Description
Job Title: Senior Marketing Manager
Role Overview
Looking for a highly experienced and well-connected Senior Marketing Manager with a strong background in government liaisoning and institutional sales, particularly with departments such as NBCC, CPWD, PWD, and other government bodies.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in furniture, modular solutions, or interior contracting, with the ability to drive business growth through government projects and tenders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute marketing and sales strategies focused on government and institutional clients.
- Handle liaisoning with government departments such as NBCC, CPWD, PWD, etc.
- Identify and track tender opportunities through GeM and e-procurement portals.
- Manage the complete tendering process, including documentation, pricing, submission, and follow-ups.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key officials, consultants, architects, and contractors.
- Drive business development for furniture, modular kitchens, wardrobes, and interior fit-out projects.
- Coordinate with internal teams, including design, estimation, and execution, for project alignment.
- Ensure timely closure of deals and achievement of revenue targets.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends in the government sector.
- Ensure compliance with government norms, approvals, and documentation.
Qualifications / Requirements
- 4–10 years of experience in Marketing & Sales, with a minimum of 4–5 years in government projects.
- Strong experience in dealing with NBCC, CPWD, PWD, or similar departments.
- Background in furniture, modular interiors, or turnkey interior projects preferred.
- Proven track record of winning government tenders/projects.
- Excellent networking and liaisoning skills.
- Strong understanding of GeM portal, tendering systems, and BOQ preparation.
- Good communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Civil, or Interior-related fields.
- MBA in Marketing preferred but not mandatory.
- Existing network with government officials and project consultants.
Additional Value-Add Expectations
- Experience in high-value project closures in the ₹1 Cr–₹50 Cr range.
- Ability to build a government sales team.
- Strong knowledge of vendor registrations and empanelment processes.
- Knowledge of billing cycles, certifications, and government payment processes.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strategic mindset for long-term government business expansion.

- Number of tenders participated in and won.
- Total business generated from the government sector.
