Role Description Team Leader / Area Sales Manager (Stem Cell Banking)This is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Bangalore & NCR. The Team Leader / Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving regional business growth, leading and mentoring a team of Stem Cell Counsellors, and strengthening partnerships with hospitals and healthcare professionals.
The role involves strategic planning, execution of sales targets, process adherence, and ensuring high-quality counselling standards for expectant parents. The incumbent will act as a key link between sales, operations, and hospital stakeholders to ensure seamless enrollment and cord blood collection processes.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, coach, and manage a team of Stem Cell Counsellors to achieve monthly and quarterly targets
- Drive regional revenue growth through hospital channel management and key account development
- Ensure effective counselling standards and ethical communication with expectant parents
- Build and strengthen relationships with gynecologists, obstetricians, and hospital management
- Monitor daily performance metrics, funnel conversion, and operational compliance
- Coordinate with operations and logistics teams to ensure smooth collection and processing
- Conduct regular training, reviews, and field support for team members
- Ensure adherence to company SOPs, regulatory norms, and quality benchmarks
Qualifications & Experience- Proven experience in healthcare, biotech, pharmaceutical, or medical device sales
- Prior experience as Team Leader / Area Sales Manager preferred
- Strong understanding of stem cell banking, cord blood preservation, or maternity healthcare
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to train, motivate, and scale high-performing field teams
- Strong planning, reporting, and execution capabilities
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Nursing, Life Sciences, or related field (MBA preferred)
