Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Area Sales Manager / Field Sales Manager (FMCG) located in Bengaluru. The individual will oversee sales operations in the assigned territory, including developing and implementing effective sales strategies, managing and guiding the field sales team, and building strong relationships with distributors and retailers. Responsibilities include monitoring performance metrics, achieving sales targets, analyzing market trends, and identifying growth opportunities. The role requires regular market visits to ensure brand visibility and strengthen overall trade relations.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge in sales management, territory planning, and achieving revenue targets
  • Experience in building and maintaining relationships with distributors, retailers, and trade partners
  • Proficiency in market analysis, trend identification, and competitor benchmarking
  • Skills in team management, mentoring, and performance tracking
  • Understanding of the FMCG sector and familiarity with Ayurveda and wellness products is advantageous
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a dynamic and competitive market environment
