Role Overview

The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth and product distribution across assigned regions. The role involves managing rural sales channels, building entrepreneur-led distribution networks, and ensuring effective conversion of leads generated through field and digital efforts.

Key Responsibilities (KRAs)

Sales & Revenue Growth:

  • Drive achievement of assigned sales targets (SKU-wise and category-wise).
  • Develop and execute sales strategies for clean energy and logistics-linked products/services.
  • Ensure effective conversion of leads generated through marketing and outreach initiatives.

Channel & Network Development:

  • Build and strengthen a network of rural entrepreneurs, retailers, and distribution partners.
  • Enable onboarding, activation, and performance of entrepreneurs for sustained sales.
  • Identify new market opportunities and expand presence across villages/talukas.

Team & Performance Management:

  • Build and guide field teams (Sales Executives/Entrepreneurs) to drive performance.
  • Track daily/weekly sales data and ensure alignment with targets.
  • Build accountability and performance-driven culture within the team.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • % achievement of monthly/quarterly sales targets
  • % conversion of leads to sales
  • Growth in active entrepreneurs/retailers network
  • % achievement of product distribution and availability targets

Skills & Qualifications

  • Graduate/Postgraduate with sales
  • Experience: 3+ years in sales, preferably in rural markets for clean energy solutions like EV, Solar, Other electric appliances.
  • Strong connections & networking with local SHG, FPO, Retailers, Distributors, Gram Panchayats, NGOs etc.
  • Fluency in Kannada is mandatory

Compensation Structure

  • Fixed Salary: ₹3–6 LPA (based on experience)
  • Variable Pay: Performance-linked incentives based on sales targets
