Are You Ready to Build the Revenue Engine

At turgo.ai, we believe selling should be intelligent, consultative, and human—not transactional. Marketing today is broken, and we're fixing it with an AI-powered marketing OS that helps companies grow smarter, faster, and more predictably.

Now, we're looking for our founding Sales Lead in India to take this story to market.

This isn't a quota-only role. This is a zero-to-one opportunity to build the sales motion from scratch—define how we sell, who we sell to, and how we win.

Your Mission : Build & Own Revenue in India

As our founding Sales Lead, you will own the entire sales motion for the Indian market. You'll work closely with marketing, product, and leadership to convert demand into long-term customer relationships.

You'll be both a strategist and a closer—designing the playbook while actively selling.

What You'll Own

Building the Sales Playbook

  • Define ICPs, buyer personas, qualification frameworks, and deal stages
  • Design outbound and inbound sales motions in close partnership with marketing
  • Establish repeatable processes for pipeline creation and closure

Owning the Funnel

  • Qualify and convert marketing-qualified leads into revenue
  • Drive full-cycle sales: discovery → demo → proposal → close
  • Build predictable pipeline and revenue visibility

Customer - Centric Selling

  • Run deep, consultative discovery conversations
  • Translate customer pain points into clear, compelling value narratives
  • Act as the voice of the customer back to product and marketing teams

Scaling for the Future

  • Help define hiring profiles and on boarding frameworks for future sales hires
  • Document learnings, objections, win/loss insights, and sales best practices
  • Lay the foundation for a high-performing, customer-first sales culture

Who We're Looking For

We're not looking for just experience—we're looking for builders with the right mindset.

You are someone who:

  • Has 3–5 years of B2B SaaS sales experience, ideally in MarTech, SaaS, AI, or developer tools
  • Thinks like an owner and owns the pipeline end-to-end, not just one stage of it
  • Enjoys zero-to-one environments and gets energy from building, not inheriting
  • Is a culture carrier—sets the bar high and leads by example
  • Enjoys coaching, learning, and sharing feedback openly
  • Has strong discovery, storytelling, and consultative selling skills
  • Is data-aware but human-first in how you sell
  • Is comfortable working directly with founders and cross-functional teams
  • Has a strong understanding of the global B2B buying journey
