Technical Account Manager – Ads / Publisher Integrations
Location: Hyderabad (WFO)
Timings - 7 PM - 4AM
Role Summary
The Technical Account Manager (TAM) is the primary technical partner for a portfolio of publisher customers. You'll own end-to-end integrations, onboarding and ongoing technical success for publishers using our advertising stack combining deep hands-on ad-tech knowledge with strong client communication and cross-functional coordination. You act as the translator and bridge between publishers and engineering/product to accelerate integrations, resolve escalations and maximize publisher value.
Key Responsibilities
- Own publisher integrations and onboarding: design, coordinate and execute Pre-bid header-bidding implementations, CTV tag setups, and Google Ad Manager (GAM) configuration.
- Troubleshoot on-page JavaScript tag and pixel issues, adserver macros, header bidding adapters/wrappers, and CTV/OTT tag behavior using Chrome Developer Tools and other diagnostics.
- Configure and validate GAM (line items, orders, key-values, targeting, creatives) and ensure ad server setups meet campaign requirements and reporting needs.
- Drive root-cause analysis across the ad lifecycle (request → auction → creative delivery → reporting) and produce clear technical remediation plans.
- Serve as the main technical contact for publishers: lead technical calls, run enablement sessions, deliver POCs/demos, and keep stakeholders informed on status and risks.
- Coordinate with engineering, product and support: raise tickets, scope required work, prioritize fixes, and validate releases against publisher requirements.
- Maintain accurate integration documentation, runbooks and post-mortems; capture product feedback and feature requests from publishers.
- Monitor account health and usage, surface churn/risk signals, and identify expansion opportunities driven by technical enablement.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years in a customer-facing ad-tech or integrations role (TAM, Integrations Engineer, or similar).
- Hands-on experience with Prebid.js / Prebid Server implementations and troubleshooting header-bidding behavior.
- Practical experience configuring and troubleshooting Google Ad Manager (orders, line items, key-values, creatives).
- Strong JavaScript skills for working with page tags and debugging client-side code; proficient with Chrome Developer Tools.
- Familiarity with ad server macros, tag templates, pixel firing, and the ad request → auction → creative lifecycle.
- Experience with Connected TV (CTV) tag implementation and basic OTT delivery concerns.
- Excellent client communication skills; ability to explain complex technical issues clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven track record collaborating with engineering/product teams and driving integrations to completion.
- Comfortable with APIs, logs, basic SQL, and scripting for diagnostics and automation.
