Position Title - AI Automation Engineer

Location - Hyderabad

What you'll be doing

We are seeking a talented AI Engineer to join our modular platform program of our global organization. This role is pivotal in leveraging Generative AI (GenAI) to automate internal processes and to develop innovative AI-powered services for our customers.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about AI design, process optimization, and cross-functional collaboration.

Summary of Primary Responsibilities

• Design and implement GenAI solutions for internal automation (e.g., security services) and user-facing products.

• Engineer, test, and optimize prompts for LLMs (e.g., GPT, Claude, Gemini, Mistral, LLaMA) to maximize accuracy,

reliability, and security.

• Convert existing business processes into AI prompted workflows

• Collaborate with other GenAI teams and security service teams to identity automation opportunities and develop AI

capabilities leveraging those tools and services

• Build retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines and agentic AI applications (e.g. GraphRAG, LangChain)

• Prototype, deploy, and scale production-ready models integrated into Experian platforms and workflows

• Document best practices and contribute to internal GenAI knowledge sharing.

• Support training initiatives to upskill internal teams on GenAI tools and capabilities

What your background looks like

• (2+ years) Proven experience in AI/ML engineering with direct exposure to generative AI and LLMs.

• Strong proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).

• Hands-on experience with prompt engineering, fine-tuning, embeddings, and vector databases.

• Familiarity with security services (e.g. authentication, access control, WAF, IOC, etc.), and REST APIs.

• Strong understanding of ML fundamentals, NLP techniques, agent to agent integrations, and LLM architectures.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related fields

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with ring fencing and securing AI agents

• Exposure to cloud AI platforms (Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, GCP Vertex AI).

• Hands-on experience with open-source LLMs (LLaMA, Mistral, Falcon).

• Experience building MCP servers and agents

• Interest in AI governance, explainability, and ethics.
