Role Overview
The Decor Sales Intern will support the Decor Sales Consultant in managing client discovery, concept development, mood boarding, quotations, and follow-ups. This role focuses on translating client requirements into structured design concepts and pricing proposals while ensuring smooth coordination between internal teams.
This is a hands-on learning opportunity at the intersection of weddings, dcor, design, and sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in client discovery calls and meetings to understand wedding themes, preferences, and budgets.
- Support in creating mood boards, design presentations, and dcor concepts aligned with client expectations.
- Prepare structured quotations and cost sheets under the guidance of the Sales Consultant.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for dcor elements, pricing inputs, and availability.
- Maintain client data, proposals, and follow-up trackers.
- Ensure timely follow-ups with clients to move conversations toward closure.
- Support on-site during events for dcor setup coordination when required.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong interest in weddings, dcor, design, and sales.
- Basic understanding of color palettes, themes, and event styling.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Canva (preferred).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced event environment.
