Job Summary
- Job Title: Sales Head – Water Treatment Chemicals
- Location: Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Bangalore.
- Department: Sales & Business Development
- Reporting To: Division Head
- Industry: Water Treatment/Chemicals
- Experience Required: 10–20 years in water treatment chemical sales
- Qualification: B.Sc / B.Tech in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering /MBA preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Leadership:
- Develop and execute the strategic sales plan for water treatment chemicals across India or designated regions.
- Lead and mentor the regional sales team to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Identify growth opportunities in municipal, industrial, and institutional segments.
Business Development:
- Build and expand the customer base in the water treatment industry.
- Establish key partnerships with OEMs, EPC contractors, and large industrial clients.
- Identify and tap into emerging markets and trends in water treatment solutions.
Key Account Management:
- Develop long-term relationships with key accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Market Intelligence & Reporting:
- Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes.
- Provide regular market feedback and sales forecasts to senior management.
- Ensure adherence to credit policies and support in collections from key accounts.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of water treatment chemicals (coagulants, flocculants, biocides, RO chemicals, etc.)
- Excellent leadership and people management skills
- Strategic thinking and business acumen
- Customer-focused approach and excellent negotiation skills
- Good communication and presentation abilities
