Job Summary

  • Job Title: Sales Head – Water Treatment Chemicals
  • Location: Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Bangalore.
  • Department: Sales & Business Development
  • Reporting To: Division Head
  • Industry: Water Treatment/Chemicals
  • Experience Required: 10–20 years in water treatment chemical sales
  • Qualification: B.Sc / B.Tech in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering /MBA preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy & Leadership:
  • Develop and execute the strategic sales plan for water treatment chemicals across India or designated regions.
  • Lead and mentor the regional sales team to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
  • Identify growth opportunities in municipal, industrial, and institutional segments.

Business Development:

  • Build and expand the customer base in the water treatment industry.
  • Establish key partnerships with OEMs, EPC contractors, and large industrial clients.
  • Identify and tap into emerging markets and trends in water treatment solutions.

Key Account Management:

  • Develop long-term relationships with key accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Market Intelligence & Reporting:

  • Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes.
  • Provide regular market feedback and sales forecasts to senior management.
  • Ensure adherence to credit policies and support in collections from key accounts.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of water treatment chemicals (coagulants, flocculants, biocides, RO chemicals, etc.)
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills
  • Strategic thinking and business acumen
  • Customer-focused approach and excellent negotiation skills
  • Good communication and presentation abilities
