Minematics is seeking an experienced Sales Manager from an IT Services background (India-based) with a proven track record of selling and closing data/analytics services in North America, Middle East, Europe, and India. This is an end-to-end sales role: you will research and identify target segments region-wise, build ICPs, create and manage prospect databases, run outbound + digital lead generation, qualify and nurture leads, and close deals. You should be able to consistently generate revenue of at least USD 25K per month and bring an network/relationships to accelerate closures.

Key Responsibilities
1) Market Research & Segmentation (Region-wise)
- Conduct structured research to identify high-potential sub-segments and buyer groups across target regions.
- Build region-specific target lists (mid-size companies) in Manufacturing/Construction/Mining ecosystems.
- Track macro and micro triggers (capacity expansion, digitization, new plants/sites, ERP modernization, ESG reporting, predictive maintenance initiatives, etc.).
2) ICP Development & Positioning
- Develop and refine Ideal Customer Profiles (ICP) by region and vertical (firmographics, technographics, buying triggers, typical pain points, budgets).
- Define buyer personas (CXO, Operations, Plant Head, CIO/CTO, Data/IT Heads, Finance/Procurement).
- Collaborate internally to translate offerings into clear value propositions and messaging per vertical.
3) Database Building & Pipeline Creation
- Build and maintain a high-quality prospect database (accounts + contacts) with validated contact information.
- Own pipeline hygiene in CRM: stages, notes, next steps, forecast accuracy.
- Create account plans for priority accounts and define multi-threading strategies.
4) Outreach, Lead Generation & Demand Creation
- Execute outbound prospecting using email, calls, LinkedIn, partnerships, and events.
- Plan and run lead generation via digital marketing support (campaign themes, target lists, landing page inputs, webinar/event ideas) and work with marketing to convert MQLs to SQLs.
- Book discovery meetings, deliver initial qualification, and progress deals through a structured process.
5) Consultative Selling, Qualification & Closure
- Run discovery and qualification (pain, impact, stakeholders, timelines, budgets).
- Present solutions, develop proposals, manage RFP/RFQ processes, and negotiate commercials.
- Coordinate solutioning resources for demos, case studies, and technical validation.
- Own deal closure end-to-end including procurement/legal coordination.
6) Relationship & Network-Led Selling
- Leverage existing connections/relationships to accelerate lead generation and closures.
- Build long-term relationships with decision-makers and influencers across target verticals and regions.
- Identify and develop referral/partner channels where relevant.
7) Strategy, Planning & Execution
- Build quarterly/monthly sales plans with clear activity metrics, pipeline targets, and conversion goals.
- Consistently meet or exceed revenue targets through disciplined execution and prioritization.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 512+ years of B2B sales experience in IT Services / Analytics / Data / Digital transformation (must have services selling exposure).
- Based in India, with demonstrated selling success across North America, Middle East, Europe, and India (Australia/APAC exposure is a plus).
- Proven ability to consistently generate at least USD 30K/month revenue and meet/exceed targets.
- Strong experience in:
- ICP creation, segmentation, account-based prospecting
- Outbound + consultative selling + full-cycle closures
- Building databases, CRM discipline, pipeline forecasting
- Experience selling to mid-size clients (preferred) in Manufacturing/Construction/Mining.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management across time zones.
- Comfortable working independently in a high-ownership environment.
