Job Title:Sales Head-GT-FMCG Co-Chennai & North TN

Role Overview
The Sales Head -General trade will be responsible for driving overall sales performance in the assigned region, including both primary and secondary sales. The role requires strong leadership, distributor management, and a sharp focus on revenue growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive primary & secondary sales targets for the region
- Strengthen and expand the distributor network
- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team performance
- Increase numeric and weighted distribution (outlet expansion)
- Ensure range selling across all channels
- Conduct sales analysis and derive actionable insights
- Coordinate with backend/support teams for seamless operations
- Handle and resolve distributor grievances effectively
- Take full responsibility for top-line and bottom-line performance
Candidate Requirements
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years as Sales Head / RSM in FMCG
- Must have handled a minimum turnover of 10 Cr per month
- Proven track record of consistent performance and results delivery
- Strong career stability (worked with max 3-4 companies)
- Experience in team handling and distributor management
Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Excel and sales reporting tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly result-oriented and performance-driven
