Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Executive role based in Mumbai. The Sales Executive will identify and pursue new business opportunities for fiber laser machinery and automation solutions, manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing, and maintain strong relationships with existing customers. Responsibilities include conducting product demonstrations, understanding client requirements, preparing proposals and quotations, and coordinating with technical teams to ensure accurate solutions. The role also involves meeting sales targets, tracking opportunities in the sales pipeline, conducting market research, and providing feedback to management on customer needs and competitive trends. The Sales Executive will represent TRUWAY MACHINERY at client meetings, site visits, and relevant industry events as required.

Qualifications

  • Proven sales skills in industrial equipment, capital machinery, or related engineering products, with experience managing the complete sales cycle.
  • Strong abilities in client relationship management, negotiation, and closing deals while maintaining a customer-centric approach.
  • Technical aptitude to understand fiber laser machinery, automation solutions, and related specifications, with a willingness to learn product details.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain technical solutions in clear, business-focused language.
  • Experience using CRM or sales tracking tools, and proficiency in basic office software (e.g., spreadsheets, presentations, email).
  • Ability to work independently in the field, prioritize tasks, and meet or exceed defined sales targets.
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred; relevant sales experience in machinery can substitute for formal education.
  • Previous experience in laser machinery, metalworking, automation, or industrial manufacturing sales is an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel locally and regionally for client meetings, site visits, and industry events as needed.
