Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Executive role based in Kolkata. The Sales Executive will actively engage showroom visitors and prospective clients, understand their design and functional needs, and present suitable luxury furniture solutions. Daily responsibilities include conducting product demonstrations, preparing quotations, following up on leads, and closing sales while maintaining strong long-term client relationships. The role involves coordinating with design, production, and logistics teams to ensure accurate order processing, timely delivery, and a seamless customer experience. The Sales Executive will also support visual merchandising in the showroom, participate in events or exhibitions, and contribute customer insights to help refine sales strategies and product offerings.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in luxury retail, furniture, interiors, or high-end lifestyle sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Strong client relationship skills, including consultative selling, needs assessment, and ability to guide customers through premium purchasing decisions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with a professional, confident, and customer-focused demeanor.
  • Good understanding of design, aesthetics, and space planning, with the ability to discuss style, finishes, and customization options.
  • Comfort with CRM tools, basic computer applications (email, spreadsheets, presentations), and maintaining accurate sales records.
  • High level of integrity, reliability, and punctuality, with the ability to work on-site, including weekends or extended hours when business needs require.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Design, or a related field preferred; relevant sales or retail certifications are an advantage.
  • Prior experience working with discerning or international clientele and fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
