A Hotel Sales Executive/Managerdrives revenue by prospecting, booking, and managing corporate, group, and event clients, leveraging strong negotiation skills. They are responsible for meeting occupancy and revenue targets by building client relationships, handling site inspections, preparing proposals, and collaborating with internal teams.

Experience From Hospitality Background Preferred

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development:Identify, pursue, and secure new business, including corporate accounts, travel agents, and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions).
  • Relationship Management:Maintain and nurture long-term relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business.
  • Negotiation & Contracting:Negotiate room rates, banquet fees, and contract terms to maximize profit while meeting client needs.
  • Sales Strategy & Analysis:Develop sales plans, analyze competitor rates, and track market trends to adjust strategies.
  • Internal Coordination:Collaborate with operations, front office, and food & beverage teams to ensure seamless event execution.
  • CRM & Reporting:Maintain accurate records in CRM systems, track KPIs, and provide revenue forecasts.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience:Previous experience in hotel sales or business development (typically 15 years depending on level).
  • Education:Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or Marketing preferred.
  • Communication:Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, and persuasion abilities.
  • Technical Skills:Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and hotel CRM software.
  • Industry Knowledge:Understanding of the local market, hotel property management systems, and hospitality trends.
