We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Intern to support our Personal Loan Cross-Sell team. The intern will assist in identifying opportunities to offer personal loan products to existing customers, support lead generation activities, and contribute to achieving sales targets. This role provides hands-on exposure to banking sales processes, customer engagement, and financial product knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:-
Assist in identifying and contacting potential customers for personal loan cross-sell opportunities
Support the sales team in converting leads into successful loan applications
Make outbound calls to existing customers to explain personal loan offers and benefits
Maintain and update customer records and lead databases accurately
Coordinate with internal teams (credit, operations, and verification) for smooth processing of applications
Follow up with customers for documentation and application completion
Achieve daily/weekly call and conversion targets assigned by the team
Learn and stay updated on personal loan products, eligibility criteria, and pricing
Provide feedback on customer responses and market insights to improve sales strategy
Required Skills & Qualifications-
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree (BBA, BCom, BA)
Good communication skills in English and local language
Basic understanding of banking or financial products (preferred but not mandatory)
Strong interpersonal and persuasion skills
Comfortable with outbound calling and customer interaction
Basic knowledge of MS Office / Google Sheets
