Sales & Customer Relationship Executive – Scrap Collection
Location: Himmatnagar/Ahmedabad
Department: Sales & Customer Support
Employment Type: Full-Time
Experience: 1–3 Years preferred
About the Role
We are seeking a customer-focused executive to manage leads, communicate via phone and WhatsApp, coordinate pricing and pickups, and ensure a smooth customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle enquiries from phone, WhatsApp, website and social media.
- Understand customer requirements, location, quantity and pickup time.
- Maintain lead records, follow up regularly and update CRM/tracking sheets.
- Coordinate pricing and quotations with the Operations Team.
- Handle basic negotiations within approved limits.
- Coordinate confirmed pickups and keep customers updated.
- Resolve complaints related to pricing, delays, weighing and service quality.
- Maintain daily reports on leads, follow-ups, pickups and complaints.
- Escalate complex issues to management.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Strong phone, WhatsApp and follow-up skills.
- Customer handling, negotiation and coordination abilities.
- Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
- Basic Excel/Google Sheets and CRM knowledge.
- Organized, proactive and professional under pressure.
Preferred Candidate
- 1–3 years of experience in sales, telecalling, customer support, CRM, business development or operations.
- Experience in scrap, recycling, logistics or collection services is an advantage.
- Gujarati and Hindi preferred; basic English is an advantage.
Key Performance Indicators
- Lead handling and conversion rate.
- Follow-up efficiency and response time.
- Successful pickups.
- Customer satisfaction and complaint resolution.
- Accurate coordination and reduced missed leads.
