Job Description

Role Objective

To drive revenue growth of Genaxy's focused instruments portfolio in Delhi NCR by executing a highly targeted, demo-driven and institution-focused sales strategy. The role requires complete ownership of instrument business in the territory with strong alignment to company-defined priority products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve monthly & annual sales targets for Genaxy's focused instruments range
  • Drive sales of key products such as:
  • Incubators, incubators shaker, centrifuges
  • Plug & Play instruments and other priority SKUs finalized for the year
  • Conduct product demonstrations and installations, ensuring strong product understanding at customer end.
  • Build pipeline through regular visits to research labs, pharma companies, and academic institutes.
  • Focus on conversion-driven selling rather than broad portfolio pitching
  • Manage complete sales cycle: lead generation → demo → negotiation → closure
  • Ensure effective follow-ups and faster deal closures with strong ownership
  • Participate actively in GeM and institutional tenders, ensuring compliance and timely submission
  • Coordinate with internal teams for:
  • Pricing approvals (aligned with finalized pricing strategy)
  • Timely delivery and installation support
  • Maintain accurate sales funnel, reporting, and forecasting

Key Requirements

  • Education: B.Sc / M.Sc (Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Microbiology or related field)
  • Experience: 2–4 years preferably in laboratory instrument sales
  • Strong hands-on understanding of bench-top lab instruments.
  • Proven experience in demo-based selling and service support.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Highly target-oriented and execution-focused

Preferred Profile

  • Prior experience handling similar product lines (shakers, centrifuges, incubators, small equipment etc.)
  • Existing network in Delhi NCR research labs, pharma & academic institutions
  • Ability to independently manage demos and basic troubleshooting

  • Achievement of instrument sales targets (monthly/quarterly)
  • Focused product sales contribution (%)
  • Demo-to-conversion ratio
  • Lead-to-order conversion time
