1. Job Purpose
To support revenue growth and portfolio profitability by executing sales strategies, managing RFQ and pricing activities, conducting market research, supporting customer acquisition and retention, and ensuring compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) documentation requirements.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. Sales Strategy Implementation
- Execute approved sales strategies and action plans.
- Support achievement of revenue and margin targets.
- Maintain accurate sales pipeline and forecasting data.
- Track and report performance against assigned KPIs.
B. RFQ, BOM & Pricing Coordination
- Coordinate RFQ process with Engineering, Sourcing, and Operations.
- Review customer technical specifications and ensure completeness.
- Assist in BOM validation and costing data compilation.
- Support preparation of pricing proposals aligned with target margins.
- Maintain proper documentation of quotations and commercial records.
C. Portfolio & Commercial Support
- Monitor assigned customer accounts for revenue and margin performance.
- Track order trends and flag potential risks to P&L.
- Support price revision exercises and commercial negotiations.
- Ensure follow-up on outstanding quotations and contracts.
D. Negotiation & Customer Interaction
- Participate in commercial discussions with customers under guidance of the Manager.
- Support preparation of negotiation materials and cost justifications.
- Maintain professional and effective communication with customers.
- Handle routine commercial clarifications.
E. Sales Presentation & Proposal Preparation
- Prepare structured sales presentations and proposals.
- Compile company capability decks and product information.
- Coordinate cross-functional inputs for major submissions.
- Ensure alignment with brand and commercial positioning.
F. Market Research & Business Development
- Conduct target market and competitor research.
- Identify potential customers and new business opportunities.
- Maintain updated market intelligence database.
- Support prospecting activities including cold calls, emails, and visits.
- Assist in developing account development plans.
G. Customer Retention & Relationship Management
- Maintain regular communication with assigned accounts.
- Track customer satisfaction indicators.
- Coordinate resolution of customer concerns with relevant departments.
- Support customer audits and visits where required.
H. Training & Competency Development
- Participate in competency assessments and development programs.
- Identify personal training needs and recommend improvements.
- Support team learning initiatives when required.
- Assist in evaluating training effectiveness through feedback and KPI tracking.
I. Quality Management System (QMS) Compliance
- Prepare and maintain departmental QMS documents and records.
- Ensure proper filing of RFQs, quotations, contracts, and correspondence.
- Support compliance with ISO and customer-specific requirements.
- Participate in internal and external audits when required.

5. Job Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or related field
Experience
- 36 years of experience in B2B sales within manufacturing / precision engineering environment
- Experience handling RFQs and pricing coordination preferred
