Position Overview

We are seeking a results-driven and knowledgeable Cosmetology Sales Specialist with over 3 years of experience in the dermatology / beauty industry. This role is ideal for a professional who combines strong sales skills to drive growth across multiple channels with a deep understanding of cosmetology/dermatology products, trends, and client needs. You will be responsible for driving revenue, building client relationships, managing relationships with distributors, and representing our brand with expertise and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage relationships with dermatology clinics, aesthetic centers, and medical spas
  • Promote and sell professional-grade skincare and cosmetology products to healthcare professionals
  • Educate dermatologists, clinic staff, and distributors on product efficacy, usage protocols, and treatment integration
  • Conduct in-clinic product demonstrations, workshops, and training sessions
  • Identify and onboard new distributors; manage existing distributor performance and growth
  • Collaborate with distributors to ensure alignment of sales targets, branding, and market strategy execution
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging dermatological innovations
  • Support B2C activations at key malls, heavy footfall locations etc to support the marketing activations
  • Drive revenue growth through both direct sales and distributor channels while identifying new business opportunities and expanding existing accounts
  • Forecast sales, track and meet KPIs, and maintain accurate records of sales activities and CRM records
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Support product launches, marketing campaigns, and promotional initiatives within clinics and distribution networks
  • Manage inventory, merchandising, and product displays (if retail-based)
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to support promotions and launches

Qualifications

  • Graduation in Science or Pharmacy
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in cosmetology, skincare, or dermatology-related sales
  • Proven experience working with dermatology clinics, medical-grade skincare, or aesthetic products
  • Experience managing or working with distributors or channel partners
  • Strong understanding of skin physiology, dermatological treatments, and clinical skincare products
  • Familiarity of B2C selling environment is an added advantage
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Decent presentation skills, adequate training capability, and excellent relationship-building skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively primarily in English as well as Hindi/Marathi with both medical professionals and business stakeholders while building trust and long-term relationships
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-driven
  • Comfortable with travel (if applicable)

Preferred Skills

  • Background in medical aesthetics or skin care
  • Existing network within dermatology clinics or aesthetic practices
  • Experience in B2B and channel sales will be added advantage
  • Being a self-starter and ability to work in a startup like environment
  • Familiarity with regulatory considerations in dermatology/skincare products
  • Ability to analyze sales data and optimize distributor performance
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills
  • Social media savvy for brand promotion and client engagement
