Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and convert potential clients, including individuals, corporates, and travel partners.
- Promote domestic and international tour packages, corporate deals, and customised travel plans.
- Execute outbound calls, online meetings, and email campaigns to generate leads and close deals.
- Upsell and cross-sell services such as hotel bookings, flight tickets, visa assistance, and insurance.
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Build long-term relationships with customers through consistent engagement and follow-ups.
- Handle client queries, feedback, and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
- Maintain a high level of client retention and referral business.
- Monitor travel trends, competitor pricing, and customer preferences.
- Recommend promotional strategies and travel offers based on market insights.
- Suggest improvements in product offerings to align with industry trends.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and client communications in CRM.
- Prepare weekly/monthly performance reports and share key insights with the management.
- Coordinate with operations, marketing, and customer service teams for a seamless client experience.
- Ensure end-to-end support during booking, itinerary changes, and post-travel assistance.
- Deliver exceptional service standards to enhance brand reputation and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proficiency in CRM tools (Zoho, Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Knowledge of GDS booking systems (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of travel destinations, packages, and customer needs.
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
- Active listening and empathy to understand client needs.
- Integrity and professionalism are needed to build trust with customers.
- Ability to work under pressure and achieve sales targets.
- Problem-solving, adaptability, and creativity in solutions.
- Graduated in any discipline.
- Travel or sales certifications are a plus.
- 0-3 years in sales or travel/tourism industry.
- Freshers with a passion for sales are encouraged to apply.
