Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and convert potential clients, including individuals, corporates, and travel partners.
  • Promote domestic and international tour packages, corporate deals, and customised travel plans.
  • Execute outbound calls, online meetings, and email campaigns to generate leads and close deals.
  • Upsell and cross-sell services such as hotel bookings, flight tickets, visa assistance, and insurance.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Build long-term relationships with customers through consistent engagement and follow-ups.
  • Handle client queries, feedback, and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
  • Maintain a high level of client retention and referral business.
  • Monitor travel trends, competitor pricing, and customer preferences.
  • Recommend promotional strategies and travel offers based on market insights.
  • Suggest improvements in product offerings to align with industry trends.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and client communications in CRM.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly performance reports and share key insights with the management.
  • Coordinate with operations, marketing, and customer service teams for a seamless client experience.
  • Ensure end-to-end support during booking, itinerary changes, and post-travel assistance.
  • Deliver exceptional service standards to enhance brand reputation and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in CRM tools (Zoho, Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Knowledge of GDS booking systems (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo) is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of travel destinations, packages, and customer needs.
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
  • Active listening and empathy to understand client needs.
  • Integrity and professionalism are needed to build trust with customers.
  • Ability to work under pressure and achieve sales targets.
  • Problem-solving, adaptability, and creativity in solutions.
  • Graduated in any discipline.
  • Travel or sales certifications are a plus.
  • 0-3 years in sales or travel/tourism industry.
  • Freshers with a passion for sales are encouraged to apply.
