Position : Sales Engineer
Job Location : Prahlad Nagar (Ahmedabad)
Job Responsibilities :
- Generate business opportunities for Plastic Processing Machinery, Extrusion Lines, Mixers, Conveying Systems, and Plant Automation solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, Plastic Manufacturers, Pipe Manufacturers, Compounders, and Industrial Clients.
- Understand customer technical requirements and recommend suitable machinery and process solutions.
- Prepare techno-commercial proposals, quotations, cost estimations, and tender submissions.
- Conduct product presentations, technical discussions, machine demonstrations, and customer visits.
- Coordinate with Design, Production, and Service teams for customized solutions and project execution.
- Follow up on inquiries, negotiations, order closures, payment collections, and after-sales support.
- Identify new market opportunities across India and export markets for plastic processing equipment.
- Participate in industrial exhibitions, trade fairs, and customer networking activities.
- Maintain MIS reports, sales forecasts, customer databases, and market intelligence.
- Ensure achievement of sales targets, customer satisfaction, and long-term business growth.
- Provide technical guidance to customers regarding installation, operation, and process optimization of machinery.
Desired Profile :
- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Mechanical, Plastic, Production, or Electrical Engineering.
- 3-5 years of experience in Industrial Machinery Sales, preferably in Plastic Processing Machinery, Extrusion Equipment, or Engineering Products.
- Good understanding of technical specifications, industrial applications, and customer requirements.
- Ability to prepare techno-commercial quotations and handle customer negotiations independently.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Willingness to travel for client visits, demonstrations, and business development activities.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Email Communication, and basic ERP/CRM usage.
- Target-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of working in a fast-paced engineering environment.
